The Korean name ‘Jeok-ui’ came from the word ‘Jeok-mun’ (meaning ‘pheasant pattern’) as this outfit was made by weaving with the pheasant pattern on a regular basis. This Diyi was worn as a ceremonial attire by the Empress of Crown Prince Uimin when she paid a visit to King Sunjong in 1922.

This aroma pouch made of red silk with no pattern, which is decorated with 3 plum flowers, leaves and stem as well as a pair of butterflies at both ends with gold thread. According to the record, the Royal family used the pouch by hanging it near the belt.
